Sports Day 2020
What a top day it was! There is no doubt that we were fortunate with the weather but that is about the only lucky bit. All of the rest of the successes were due to a great team effort in the planning, organising and preparation stages before the day as well as everyone’s contribution on the actual day. Well done everyone!
Congratulations to the winning team, Guichen, now 4 consecutive wins. Congratulations also to the Guichen parents for winning the prestigious B.J.’s cup, also 4 consecutive wins.
What was really fantastic was the encouragement, support and appreciation displayed towards each other by all students (whether towards teammates or opponents) and the large number of personal best performances. Exactly the way it should be, well done!
There was also 1 Sports Day Record broken and that was in Shot Put, the 10 & 11 year old boys age group. Congratulations to Joey McKenny on putting 7.43m which defeated the old record set in 2005/08 of 7.32m!
